A special thank you to The Park Hyatt Sydney for hosting the first WBAC networking event of the year on Tuesday, March 15.
The Bar, set aside for our exclusive use was a luxe location for our arts, business and newest members to meet and share ideas for new possibilities around the precinct. The total membership was well represented in the 30 who attended, some for the first time. Many new connections were made and a number of artistic collaborations have resulted.
The sublime canapé selection included soft shell crab tapas-style, panko tiger prawns with sweet chill, Jamon Iberico La Barrica Decebo cheese selection and decadent Macarons while consistent supporters of Walsh Bay venues and events, Hand Picked Wines provided a delicious preview of their latest releases from their vast selection of wine styles and varietals.
Phoebe Meredith of Sydney Theatre Company welcomed members on behalf of Walsh Bay Arts & Commerce and Park Hyatt Sydney General Manager, Marc von Arnim, introduced his team, venue facilities and vision for the destination.
New arrivals to the Walsh Bay business community, the 5 star accredited Marie-France Group were represented by Marie-France and Dominique Barget. The husband and wife team have introduced delighted locals to the ‘Art of Visagme’ - a Parisian process of exploring the relationship between who you are and the image you portray. Members are encouraged to pop in to meet Marie and try their 10-minute express salon finish ‘Le Jouge’. Read on for more in a profile on the business that follows.
