The presence of the18th century replica of the HMB Endeavour added a real wow factor to another successful WBAC Arts Table on Tuesday November 10.

Along with the spectacular views of the Harbour Bridge, the Australian National Maritime Museums’ historic tallship was a magnificent backdrop that doubled up as unique stage for some 50 young voices from Gondwana Choirs to perform the evening’s breathtaking finale.

The weather on the night was balmy and the perfect conditions for the event’s 250 guests to enjoy the evening’s alfresco five course degustation menu put together by Pier One Sydney Harbour, View by Sydney, Simmer on the Bay, Sydney Dance Lounge as well as exclusive Southern Highland guest house, The Loch. Along with enjoying the delicious fare, matched wines from the Hunter Valley’s Tempus Two went down a treat while entertainment from Gondwana’s young, indigenous and senior choristers provided the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack to the evening.

The generously donated silent auction items were well-received by those in attendance with all proceeds going to Gondwana to assist the group to continue its valuable work in encouraging young people from all walks of life to experience the joy of song and music.

Gondwana Choirs was incredinly positive about the Arts Table experience and the generous support from the evening:

"Thank you so much for all your incredibly hard work in the lead up and on the day of the event. We most certainly couldn’t have done this without you, and we are so grateful for all your support,’ says Gondwana’s General Manager, Bernie Heard.
